Church Operations

The purpose is to exercise our various gifting for the good of the family of faith. “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” (1 Corinthians 12:4-6).

Administration & Finance

Are handled mainly by Church Committee which consists of Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and two Ordinary Members. The finance is handled by the Treasurer. The Church Committee’s members are elected by the congregation every two years. The Chairman must be an Elder and usually the Pastor of the church. The Secretary and Treasurer are usually the Deacons of the church. The Ordinary Members are open to church members who have the heart to serve.

Follow-Up & Visitation

The Elders have oversight of visitation with every member at least once a year.

Audio-Visual Team

The work involves setting up the audio-visual equipment for the Lord’s Day worship service in the morning. The work involves skills of using notebook computers, projector, wireless microphone, speakers, and audio recordings.

Bulletin Team

The work involves organising the church liturgy, the Scripture reading, the outline of sermon, the church announcement for the Lord’s Day and the week that follows into church bulletin and send it to all church members and regular friends.

Refreshments & Fellowship Meals

Lord’s Day morning tea and refreshments are provided by our members in between our worship service and Bible classes. The occasional fellowship meals are coordinated by a team of members.

Pianists

John Calvin once wrote, “We know by experience that music has a secret and almost incredible power to move hearts.” The Reformer is right, and we should, therefore, give its God-centred use seriously in the life of church and worship.

Media & Communications

The work involves maintaining and updating the website and other media platforms.

Office Maintenance

The work involves maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the office space that is used by different ministry groups.
